Lots of Lacing!

All laced up and ready for frames!

Two already have frames and I just laced them instead of having them taped (gasp! I know) into the frame. Think only three will have glass added - One Nation (back center), Red Birds (top left) and America (center).

Now, to wait until DH has time to make frames. So very lucky I have someone to make my frames - no idea how much it would cost. Glad I don't have to find out.

Oh my the weather is going to be a scorcher here in Ohio. The map shows all of us in the mid-west will be baking. Take care out there. Walk in the pups in the evening and stay hydrated!

Stay cool ~
Denise

ps - I would like to thank everyone who commented on my last finish. You inspire me to stitch faster!

I need to see the backs of these before and then the finished piece after framing. I am still waiting on my hubby to cut some frames but I haven't done even this to my pieces.

Help me oh wise one...show me your ways ;)

Oh wow Denise! Look at all your pieces all ready to go!! I remember seeing you work on all of those! Especially the three birds one and the windy one!! Love them!

You are a very lucky girl...the price to frame one piece (like Tanglewood which is large) is over 100!! Well this is Canada so I'm sure you can get it cheaper down in the states...but a home made frame...that's precious!!

Wow! How fun to see all of your pieces displayed like that! Your hubby better get cracking on those frames! ;)
Do you use spacers when you put glass on your pieces?
