The Day After...and SAL Update

Some have told they played hockey the same night as their surgery ( my doctor) and several others were good to go the next day. Not me - Just getting letters capitalized is an accomplishment. Haven't tried the shower yet - be glad this isn't smell-o-vision.

Here's how the doctor left me for the next 10 days. No stitching going to happen as my thumb and index finger do not touch.

I'm going to just caption these and call it good. Sorry - no clever comments today.

I'm going to try to stitch using my right hand but think I'd be better off reading some of my new books being delivered this week!

Hope today finds you happy and healthy!

I have to tell you about a boy we had who broke both wrists when he ran into the bleachers in gym class. Poor little shit. Besides having someone carry his books, he even had to have someone go to the bathroom with him. Can you imagine?

I wouldn't even want my husband to go to the bathroom with me. Maybe Mom, but no one else!

Good luck with the right hand stitching. I would LOVE for some one to take a video of you when you try . . .LOLO

I'm laughing with you at that comment :0}

Oh dear,

I do hope you heal well soon.

The SAL is just lovely. No wonder I have seen so many pictures of it lately.

Relax your hand and read blogs LOL.

Healing stitches,

Hope your "stitching withdrawal" is going okay, Denise. The important thing is that you rest your hand and let it heal. Hope you're feeling better each day :)
