My Rose Garden

Just thought I would show the Rose Garden I made for myself. The backing fabric is the same as the Rose Garden I did as a RAK.

But, after making this pillow it made me wonder. Should I make Cherries and Watermelon into pillows or go ahead and frame them as a duo?

((Edited to add - I got the gadget on my sidebar to work - don't forget to vote on my poll))

Let's get started on the weekend - I'm off!

That's REALLY cute! Where does that pattern come from? I'm looking for some patterns to use one color of varigated threads on.

A gorgeous finish. I think the other two designs would look great as pillows too.

Congrats on your finish! I love Rose Garden by BBD. I stitched this for my mom for Christmas and am thinking about making another one for myself but with slightly different colours. I love the deep red you chose for the thread! Framing cherries and watermelon I think would look really great in a good frame, but would take a lot of fiddling around. Pillows would be cute too! I can't decide!

Reading the other comments, I see that you are a Reds fan. Would that be Cincinnati? (Just wondering if you're in my hometown!) Love your little pillow. Again, I LOVE that color. It's gorgeous!! I voted in your poll, but right now it's not much help. It's all tied up atm. Hope you get a tiebreaker vote!!

Beautiful finish! I think the cherries and watermelon should be finished as pillows also.
