The weather you have sent to me the last two days has been perfect.
The temperature has been 70 (21C) with a light wind and few clouds.
Could you send more of this to everyone?
I think there are several people who need a break from the storms.
Thank- you, Denise
Well, do you think it will work? I couldn't picture a more beautiful day. I hope this sticks around a few more days. I have a graduation party this Sunday and I would prefer this to hot and stitcky. Or worse - rain!
I sent two RAK's off this week. One is floating to Canada and the other towards the east coast of the US. I still owe stitching to the one. Things just didn't happen as quickly as I had hoped.
On the stitching front - I put away One Nation to concentrate on an upcoming SAL. I am working on Rose Garden. Hold on a sec and I'll go get a picture.
I changed the floss from Jakey's Brown to Cranberry. I love dark red roses and it seems to fit.
My boss is back from vacation next week - shoot. I had hoped he would decide to retire a year early. Since he has been gone my b/p has gone from 160/90 to 120/70 each morning. Maybe things will be better now that he's had a chance to relax a bit.
Don't forget to enter my give away. Go here and leave a comment. Drawing on the 19th.
Ok - I'm off to walk some more - trying to work up to 10,000 steps a day. Each day I get closer! lol

you can do it Denise!!!!! After you hit 10,000, it is hard to not hit it every day.....
I did not workout at all yesterday..no treadmill, no Wii, no walks, still hit almost 15,000...of course, I DID help mow the yard, via using the push mower...
love your little weather prayer...ours has been pretty fabulous the past couple days too!!!
hey you how you been? Nice new SAL and to put away One Nation are you kidding me??? REALLY ??? Glad to read that the ole BP is in check and hopefully the boss has had some cool down time too.
As for the weather, I totally agree on keeping it like this till November and then it can get warmer. Something about shovels in the summer, the outcome is always far prettier.
be always in stitches
as always
Those storms have wrecked havoc in the south and the east. I sure hope God answers your letter.
Great job on the border, I love that color too.
We have sunshine here today too! We are all so excited and we hear that it is supposed to stick around a while. I do like the cranberry colored thread you are using.
Uh oh. Promise not to hold it against me when our weather heads your way for the weekend. Right now it's 87 with a heat index of 93, and a forecast of heat indices over 100 tomorrow. I'm sooo sorry!
Glad you finally got some weather worth bragging about. We are having a sunny weekend but then back to rain. Love the colour you picked for your Rose Garden, looking forward to seeing more. Hope your BP stays low, enjoy your walking. Keeping fingers crossed for beautiful weather for the Graduation Party on Sunday.
Oh, Denise, I envy you your weather. We were hot today. It's supposed to be ninety two tomorrow and eighty eight on Sunday here. UGH!! Too hot for me and my petunias, that's for sure! Love the cranberry color. It's beautiful. Hope your RAKs get there in a timely manner. I was just up at the post office to send something today!! Can't wait to watch your progress on this. I love roses!!
