Bah humbug!

No, I'm not upset or channeling a late Christmas. I have another finish! I have everything ready to make him into a pin cushion. Won't he look cute hanging around my stitching table next Christmas?

Bent Creek
WDW as recommended
28 ct Platinum Cashel
See, I was tired of fighting a tightly woven 32 ct even weave in another WIP. Would you like to see that one?

I love this little guy. Pumpkin did this last year and I had to get the pattern. Think he will be framed. Hopefully, I'll finish up sometime this week.

Speaking of framing. I did frame Christmas Snow yesterday. I had to lace it because trying to straighten the picture any other way was beyond my patience level! lol

It's not as cute as it would have been had I gotten the tree shaped frame. But, I wasn't spending the $35 to get the frame. Guess I was being cheap!

I don't know about the rest of you but I take pictures of every finish and put them in an album. Real in your hand pictures and real in your lap album. Somehow I managed to take pictures of most of last years' finishes - not all. Then I didn't print them off and put them in the album. Yesterday, I farted around with that project. This morning I realized I didn't get them all done. Sigh! Today I must finish that project.

Ok kids, I'm off to play with my snowmen! Take care, stay warm, and stitch your fingers to the bone! ;0)

Christmas Snow looks fine in the rectangular frame - don't fret! As for Humbug, well, he's a cutie, and maybe he can handle your frustrations so you always stay calm! And the photo booth is going to be fun. You can never have too many snowmen, right?! I take photos, too, but haven't printed them to put in a real album. Great idea!

Sounds like your day is going to be busy. Enjoy!

I think it looks great in the white frame. And I don't blame you for not wanting to spend $35 on the shaped frame!

I'm glad you used this frame. I love my snowmen simple and sweet . . . not cutesy and I think a tree frame would be to cutesy. I like my snowman to have that "human" quality. or maybe it is a childlike quality that endears them to me.

Yes, that little humbug would be an adorable pin cushion - and not for one second would I think of this as "channeling a late Christmas"... I think of it as preparing for next Christmas!

OH SO CUTE!!!! WHERE did you get that BC design from????

LOL! I'm always glad when I can enable ;o) You'll love your snowmen in the end.

I love it! I don't think it would have looked any better in the other frame. This was is in proportion and the two are fabulous together :o)

The photo snowmen are going to be adorable, but.....I can see where it would get tiring working on it.....right where I am on the one I am working on......same color all along!!!
Your framed Christmas Snow looks great.....

Great idea about the photo album. I used to keep an album with photos of pieces that won a ribbon in the State Fair, but I somehow stopped doing that years ago. I should go back to reconstruct while I have half a mind (make that a quarter...)

Snowman photo booth is TOO cute. I haven't seen this first.

Congrats on Humbug finish. He's sweet.

Stay warm, friend
