There is a slight bevel on the wooden plaque. I can't get a picture that shows it though. Another overcast day. The ribbon - oh, I wanted the cord Vonna used - but it was not to be. So, I hand gathered this. Used double sided tape to hold in place until I could glue it. Vida bing vida bang - and here we go!
I'm off to pick Garin up from preschool. Mommy has taken Alivia to have her check up. And then I am making stuffed shells for dinner. A new recipe - wish me luck.
Smiles - Denise
Edited to add ~~~~ Miss Alivia now weighs 5 lbs 4.4 oz, 18" long and head circumference is 13"! Growing by leaps and bounds!

You've never finished off something before? I would have never in a million years thought that you hadn't. I love your finish. The ribbon accent is just beautiful. I think you're well on your way to some absolutely fantastic finishes!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE it!!
Wondeful finish! You've done such an excellent job with it!
The finish is excellent! I'm like you, I've always framed my cross stitch, so I'm also new to doing some of these other finishes. Seeing yours is giving me the courage to try my hand at something other than framing and pillows!
I just love the way you finished this piece. I may have to "borrow" the idea.
I can't believe you have finished it already! It is beautiful. I wish we did halloween over here: but we dont, not really ;-(
